Short bio

Brent graduated from the University of Lethbridge (B.Mgt), earned an MBA while selling solar in the U.S., and cut his teeth as a Vivint manager. Back in Canada, he co-founded Smart Haven Security with Curtis Platt, serving as CEO for eight years. In 2024 the company rebranded to KNOK, with reported outcomes of $400,000,000+ in contract value and $10,000,000+ in monthly recurring revenue.

Earlier roles include Sales Manager at Vivint and VP of Sales at The Alarm Guys, before acquiring/leading Smart Haven (TELUS Trusted Provider).
